6th August, 2013 was marked as National Organ Donation Day. To observe this day; SIDVIN Hospital, Bangalore invited MOHAN Foundation, Bangalore to conduct an awareness session on organ donation. Dr. Mounesh, Resident Doctor, SIDVIN Hospital gave an introduction to organ donation. After which; the short film – “Ignite” was screened. The session concluded with Ms. Smeja Paul, Project Manager, MOHAN Foundation, Bangalore highlighting the importance of pledging organs. 50 members of the staff were present out of which 45 of them signed the donor card. Also; Dr. Vijay Kumar, Director, SIDVIN Hospital attended the session.
