Under the project of 'Sainik Raksha Sutra' initiated by National President ABMMS Neeraja Bathwal, the Utkal Pradesh Mahila Sammelan organised an tissue and organ donation talk for the staff of CISF on 12th August 2022. Fifteen office-bearers went to the CISF, Kharvel Regional Training Camp Munduli Cuttack Odisha for the program.
I being the senior most in post and a trained MOHAN Foundation Organ Donation Ambassador, was given the opportunity to felicitate the CISF Commandant Sri Sankararao Byreddi. I felt elated, as it was a great opportunity for me to speak to the August gathering of about 370, about eye donation and organ donation at stretch, for about half an hour. The audience was mesmerized on hearing about Eye donation especially. I also took the opportunity to give the details of both. I answered the queries in the session.
The commandant was all praises for the way the program was executed by the energetic ladies!
