On 23rd may, 2016, MOHAN Foundation was invited by the Secretary, Red Cross – Punjab, Chandigarh to conduct an awareness talk for their First Aid Students at Vivekanand Bhawan, Chandigarh. Mr Santosh Kumar Asst. State Training Supervisor Punjab Red cross made a special effort to attend our program. He addressed the gathering and requested the students to pledge organs as this is very noble cause. Around 60 students from various parts of Punjab, House Wives, Farmers, Private Sector workers, participated in the session.
Students were given an introduction and presentation on Organ Donation and Brain Death by Deepika Arora. The Session was an interactive one. Many of the students took Donor Cards and brochures.
