After undergoing training in the 2 modules of the Organ Donation Ambassadors programme, R B Sneha, a student at Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad made a presentation on organ donation on the 12th of February.
16 of Sneha’s family members and friends were the audience. Sneha was assisted in her presentation by Ishwarya, Research Associate of MOHAN Foundation.
What is organ donation, what organs and tissues can be donated, who can be organ donors, brain death, transplant law, myths around organ donation, etc. were some of the topics Sneha covered.
The entire audience felt the presentation was very informative and helpful they were unaware of organ donation and they didn’t know where and how can organs be donated. There were a few who wanted to register themselves as organ donors too.
