On 6th January 2025, MOHAN Foundation was invited by NSS Program Officer Ms. Purnima to conduct an awareness session on organ donation for their NSS students. Approximately 64 NSS students attended the session.
At the beginning of the session, Ms. Purnima, NSS Program Officer welcomed all the participants and invited Ms. Neha Sharma to begin the session.
Firstly, Ms. Neha Sharma introduced herself to the students and started asking students that which organs can be donated while living and India is facing an acute shortage of organ donors and too many people waiting for transplant.
Students were given an introduction & presentation on how important is organ donation and tissue donation by Ms. Neha Sharma .

At the end of the session, Ms. Purnima, NSS Program Officer thanked Ms. Neha and said that session was very informative and encouraged all the participants to pledge for organ donation.
