Axis Bank, Mylapore organized an Awareness session on Organ Donation for their employees on 28th July 2014. Ms. Uma, of Human Resources Department invited MOHAN Foundation to deliver the talk.
The Programme started at 4:30pm in the Conference hall with a welcome address given by Ms. Uma. Following that Dr. Hemal, Quality Assurance Officer of MOHAN Foundation delivered a talk on Organ Donation. In her talk she explained the following:
The participants asked several questions which are as follows:
Can the donated organ be given to family member?
What is the reason for heart Failure?
What is the value of a registry?
Does the recipient know the donor?
Totally 29 members participated in the programme and 13 wished to pledge their Organs and picked the Donor Card.
