
On April 12, 2024, Balaji Medical College invited MOHAN Foundation Vadodara to conduct an awareness at college premises for staff and students.
Mr. Sachin Singh Rawat and Mr. Neeraj Sharma was MOHAN Foundation’s resource person who conducted the awareness talk.
This session was to sensitize the 1 st year students of the medical college. Theam MOHAN gave incites about the importance of identification a brain-dead patient. the session also touched upon the concepts of organ donation, brain death, who can donate, whichorgans can be donated, importance of organ donation. Myths and facts related to organ donation were also discussed. 60 persons participated in the event and were sensitized about the importance of organ donation 43 persons took the pledge by signing up for a donor card.

Q1. How is brain death different from coma?
Q2. How to identify a brain death patient?
Q3. What is NTORC?
Q4. Can MLC patients donate organs?
Q5. What is role of MOHAN foundation?
Q6. Age limit for donating organs?
