On 15th August, 2013, MOHAN Foundation, Hyderabad organized the Awareness stall on organ donation at Kakatiya Vidya Nikethan High School, Kakatiya Nagar with the support of the School Principal,Mr. Cheliah.
Mr. Raju, Transplant Coordinator gave away information on organ donation at the stall. This stall was organized for creating awareness among the school students and their parents. About 20 people pledged their organs by taking donor card. Information Brochures were distributed to many. The public were very interactive and asked many queries related to organ donation like when should we call MOHAN Foundation in the event of death, and what is the difference between Brain death and Normal death. All the questions were responded to their satisfaction.
