Mrs. Lalitha Raghuram explained about organ and tissue donation, concept of brain death and myths associated with organ donation, and T.H.O Act 1994 to the M.Sc (Nursing) students and lecturers (30 members) of Osmania College of Nursing organized at MOHAN Foundation office on 11th August 2014.
They were also explained about the training activities (transplant coordinator training program and workshop) and all their queries were answered on organ storage.
All the students have pledged to donate organs and filled organ donation forms along with the nursing survey forms.
Ms. Santhi coordinated in distributing donor cards and brochures.
