On March 10, 2026, SRDF – MOHAN Foundation was invited by NSS Program Officers Sh. Yashpal and Smt. Malvika Sharma in State Council of Educational Research and Training Sector 32 Chandigarh to sensitize their NSS volunteers on Organ Donation. It was conducted as part of the NSS camp activities for students pursuing the Diploma in Elementary Education. The session aimed to brief young educators about the importance of organ donation, its impact on saving lives, and their role in spreading awareness within society.
Mrs. Preeti Gupta initiated the session by introducing MF-SRDF and MOHAN Foundation alongwith its mission and vision. She, then, addressed the importance of organ donation as a gift of life.

After that, the session became two way with questions pouring in. Their curiosity was satisfactorily addressed.
The awareness session was highly impactful, instilling a spirit of compassion and responsibility in the participants. As future educators, the students of Diploma in Elementary Education are now better equipped to spread the message of organ donation, thereby contributing to a healthier and more humane society.
Around 100 NSS volunteers attended the session and encouraged to register on the NOTTO to live in the lives of others through organ donation. Both professors and students appreciated the efforts put in by MF-SRDF – MOHAN Foundation.
