On 22nd May 2022, MOHAN Foundation conducted an awareness session on Organ Donation at Vasavi Foundation Clubhouse. The Chief Guest of the session was Sri Arekapudi Gandhi MLA-Seilingampally Constituency. Dr. Bhanu Prakash was the key resource.
Dr. Prakash began the session by introducing MOHAN Foundation, its mission, vision. he addressed the audience by asking a few questions on organ donation and elucidated the need and importance of organ donation and engaged the audience with a presentation
The following were discussed thoroughly:
The audience included party activists and social workers and were highly motivated towards the cause and extended their support for the same and pledged to donate their organs. Chief Guest Sri Arekapudi Gandhi also pledged to donate her organs and flashed her donor card to the participants.
Close to 60 people attended the session. Donor cards and brochures were introduced at the end of the session.
