  On 5^th May 2022, MOHAN Foundation was invited to conduct an awareness session on organ donation to the masses gathered at Dr. Errolla Srinivas’s residence in order to celebrate his birthday and elucidate the importance of organ donation. Dr Bhanu Prakash and Ms. Srividya Subramanian were the key resource.

  Dr. Errolla Srinivas is the Chairman of Telangana State Medical Services and Infrastructure Development Corporation who spoke about organ donation to the masses and highlighted the importance of organ donation in the state. He also signed up a donor card and advocated the same to all the people who attended the event.

  Dr Bhanu Prakash explained the process of organ donation,myths on organ donation,types of donations and general overview of the importance of organ donation to the TRS party activists,social health activists (ASHA workers) and Ms. Srividya Subramanian highlighted the legal framework and THO Act to  the people gathered.

  Close to 200 people attended the session and 150 donor cards and brochures were distributed.
