On 16th February 2020, MOHAN Foundation was invited by Vasavi Clubs International to their cabinet meeting and Presidents’ installation ceremony, to deliver an awareness session on organ donation and its importance in our country. There were more than 150 participants for the awareness program.
Mrs. Lalitha Raghuram, Country Director of MOHAN Foundation, started the session with an introduction of MOHAN Foundation and the importance of organ donation. She shared her experience in this field and explained how she persevered to follow this profession. It inspired the participants and they got enthusiastic to promote organ donation in their environment. Participants had many doubts and misconceptions regarding organ donation. All the doubts that the participants had were clarified by Mrs. Raghuram after the session.
After the session, everyone came up to register for organ donation and picked up the donor cards. They assured that they would invite MOHAN Foundation to their clubs for awareness programs.
