Awareness Session on Organ Donation Conducted at Boriya Road, Ranchi

  • On February 25, 2026, MOHAN Foundation conducted an organ donation awareness stall at Boriya Road, Ranchi. The stall was conducted by Mr. Mukesh Kumar Singh with the objective of spreading awareness among the general public about the importance of organ and tissue donation. Public awareness stalls at community locations are valuable in reaching people directly, encouraging open discussion, and helping individuals understand how organ donation can save and improve lives.

    During the session, Mr. Singh explained the concepts of organ and tissue donation, brain death, and cardiac death in a simple and clear manner. He also provided information about the organs and tissues that can be donated and discussed the legal aspects related to organ donation. In addition, common myths and misconceptions surrounding organ donation were addressed so that participants could receive accurate knowledge and develop a better understanding of the subject.

    A total of 14 people attended the stall and actively interacted during the session. Their participation made the session engaging and meaningful, as it provided an opportunity to clarify doubts and encourage informed awareness about organ donation.

    Overall, the awareness stall was informative and interactive, contributing to increased understanding about organ and tissue donation among the public. The activity reflected MOHAN Foundation’s continued efforts to educate communities, dispel misconceptions, and promote positive attitudes toward organ donation through regular outreach initiatives.
