On May 12, 2026, MOHAN Foundation organized an eye donation awareness session at Sub-District Hospital, Mokhada. The session aimed to educate attendees on the importance of eye donation and promote community involvement in the noble cause of restoring vision through eye donation.
Approximately 60 participants were present at the program. The session covered information on the benefits of eye donation, eligibility requirements, the donation procedure, and the significance of raising awareness in the community.
Attendees were also briefed on common myths and misconceptions surrounding eye donation. The session garnered a positive response, with participants actively participating in discussions and showing interest in spreading awareness within the public.
Eye donation is a selfless act that can transform lives by granting the gift of sight to those in need. By spreading awareness and debunking myths, we can encourage more individuals to consider the impactful contribution of eye donation towards restoring vision and improving lives.
