An eye donation awareness session was effectively held at Patangshaha Kutir Hospital on 18 May 2026.
The session was well-attended, with approximately 40 participants from the local community and hospital staff present. The main aim of the session was to raise awareness about the significance of eye donation and to inform participants about the life-changing impact it has on visually impaired individuals.
Comprehensive information was provided on the benefits of eye donation, eligibility requirements, common myths and misconceptions, and the procedures involved in posthumous eye donation.
Participants actively participated in the session and displayed a strong interest in comprehending the importance of eye donation. They were encouraged to disseminate awareness among their families and communities to advocate for the noble cause of eye donation.
