At Sakharshet PHC, an eye donation awareness session was conducted on March 25, 2026, by MOHAN Foundation’s Karina Kadu for the general public. The session was organized to spread awareness about eye donation and encourage people to understand its importance in restoring vision.
Basic information about eye donation was shared with the participants in an easy-to-understand manner. They were informed about the right time for donation, the simple procedure involved, and how it can benefit individuals with vision loss. The session also helped in building confidence by explaining that the process is safe and respectful.
The program was attended by 30 participants, who showed active interest throughout the session. The interactive discussion allowed participants to ask questions related to the donation process, eligibility, and time limits, making the session informative and engaging.
MOHAN Foundation expresses sincere appreciation to Sakharshet PHC for their support and cooperation in organizing the session. Such awareness programs play a vital role in educating communities and motivating individuals to support the noble cause of eye donation.
