On December 27, 2025, MOHAN Foundation’s representative Ms. Prachiti Mali was invited by Gram Panchayat Navaze, Palghar to conduct an eye donation awareness session for the general public.
During the session, Ms. Prachiti Mali explained the concepts of eye donation, corneal blindness, precautions, causes of corneal blindness, and the age limit for eye donation. She also discussed the legal aspects related to eye donation and addressed several common myths associated with it. The session was interactive, and participants actively raised queries, which were clarified in detail.
A total of 66 members of the general public attended the session, and 6 participants pledged their eyes for donation.
MOHAN Foundation expresses its sincere gratitude to Gram Panchayat Navaze, Palghar, for joining hands and supporting the noble cause of organ and eye donation by helping raise awareness among the community.
