On April 7, 2026, an eye donation awareness session was conducted at Divepada, Jawhar, in collaboration with Vision Spring by MOHAN Foundation’s Karina Kadu for the general public.
The session aimed to educate participants on the importance of eye donation, corneal blindness, eligibility criteria, and to address common myths and misconceptions associated with eye donation. The information was shared in a simple and interactive manner to ensure better understanding among the attendees.
A total of 36 participants attended the session. The audience actively participated by asking questions and engaging in discussions, indicating a positive response and keen interest in the topic.
The session was held alongside an eye check-up camp organized by Vision Spring, which helped in reaching a wider section of the community and enhancing overall awareness.
