  • On January 10, 2026, the MOHAN Foundation conducted a deeply moving organ donation awareness session at the Jana Sikshana Samastha in Malkijgudam. The program was designed to integrate seamlessly with the women's ongoing training activities, ensuring that life-saving knowledge was delivered alongside their professional development.

    Project Manager Mr. Venkatesh Kattela led the discussion, focusing on the transformative power of altruism. The session reached 37 women who were actively engaged in their vocational training, bringing a unique perspective on how women can act as ambassadors for health and humanity within their families.

    The talk provided a clear and compassionate overview of the organ donation process, emphasizing that anyone, regardless of background, can leave a lasting legacy. Key topics included:

    • The Power of One: How a single donor can save up to eight lives.
    • Understanding Brain Death: Clarifying the medical criteria for donation.
    • Cultural and Social Perspectives: Addressing how donation strengthens the community.
    • The Donor Card: Its role as a symbol of one's wish to give.

    The session reached a crescendo of inspiration when the participants and their supervisor, Mr. Mohammad Mubeen, expressed their unanimous support for the cause. In a powerful display of humanity, all 37 women, along with Mr. Mubeen, formally pledged to donate their organs.

    The enthusiasm and smiles shared at the conclusion of the session reflected more than just a successful meeting; they represented a collective spirit of hope and a commitment to saving lives.
