A session on raising awareness about organ donation took place on April 22, 2026, at the Regional Transport Office (RTO) in Borivali. The aim was to educate attendees on the importance of organ donation and encourage their support for this life-saving cause.
During the session, participants received comprehensive information on the concept and significance of organ donation, covering topics such as the need for donors, eligibility requirements, and the donation process. Additionally, key aspects like brain stem death, consent procedures, and the role of family members were elucidated to enhance participants' comprehension.
Around 70 individuals attended the session and actively participated in discussions. The interactive nature of the session allowed participants to raise questions regarding organ donation procedures and registration, all of which were addressed during the event.
The sessioin was deemed informative and impactful, leading to increased awareness and inspiring individuals to contemplate organ donation as a noble deed.
