A session on organ and tissue donation awareness was held on April 16, 2026, at RTO Wadala to educate participants about the significance of organ donation and motivate them to support this life-saving cause.
The session covered essential information about organ and tissue donation, including the importance of donors, eligibility requirements, and the registration process. Concepts such as brain stem death, consent procedures, and the role of family members were also discussed to ensure participants had a thorough understanding of the topic.
A total of 45 participants attended the session and actively participated in the discussion. They expressed a strong interest and raised various questions regarding the organ donation process, registration, and points of contact. These questions were addressed in detail, fostering an interactive and informative session.
Overall, the session effectively increased awareness and inspired participants to view organ donation as a noble and impactful contribution to society.
