On December 18, 2025, the MOHAN Foundation (MF) Tripura, conducted an organ donation awareness programme at the Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Indiranagar, Agartala, West Tripura. MF was represented by Ms Nipa Modak, Program Executive.
The programme commenced at 11:30 AM with a welcome address by the Principal of the institute. This was followed by a session led by Ms Nipa Modak, during which she introduced the mission and work of the Foundation. She spoke about the Foundation’s nationwide awareness initiatives, community outreach programmes, training for healthcare professionals, and efforts to encourage organ donor pledges through donor cards and online registries.
To reinforce the key messages, informational leaflets on organ donation were distributed among the students. An interactive question-and-answer session, facilitated by Ms Nipa, enabled participants to clarify their doubts and gain a better understanding of the organ donation process.
A total of 33 students attended the programme. The session successfully underscored the importance of awareness, individual responsibility, and collective effort in promoting organ donation and saving lives.
