On April 22, 2026, an awareness program on organ donation was conducted by Mr. Biswajit Debbarma, Ambassador, Tripura, at Kumaribill Para for local residents.
The primary objective of the program was to raise awareness about the importance of organ donation and to encourage community participation in life-saving initiatives.
The session was led by Mr. Biswajit Debbarma, who addressed the gathering and shared insights on the significance of organ donation, its life-saving impact, and the role individuals can play in contributing to this noble cause. He explained the concept and importance of organ donation, discussed common myths and misconceptions, and encouraged voluntary participation and awareness spreading. The session was interactive, with attendees actively engaging and raising queries. Informational flyers were also distributed to all participants. The program was conducted successfully and achieved its objective of educating the local population. Such initiatives play an important role in building informed communities and promoting humanitarian values.
A total of 15 local residents attended the program, and participants showed keen interest and active involvement throughout the session.
