On, 14th May, 2015 MOHAN Foundation conducted an awareness session for the students of GHS Maloya, Chandigarh .The awareness session was conducted for the students of 10th standard. In which around 150 students participated .The Head Master of the school was a great support.
The students were given a lecture on Organ Donation and what are the laws pertaining to that. The awareness level of the students was checked by asking various questions and the students were well aware .In fact, a student shared a case in which his uncle received a liver from his son and they are doing really good and are healthy.
It was an interactive session and all the students were asked to talk to their parents and peers about the cause .They promised on to propagate the word around in their community .The information brochures were also distributed to them.
