MOHAN Foundation conducted an awareness session on organ donation at Shakti Nagar Basti, Malakpet, Hyderabad on September 5th, 2017 on the occasion of Ganesh Nimarjanam.
There were about 200 members that attended the awareness program and were distributed information brochures and 50 donors cards were given to the members that had pledged. Dr. Bhanu Chandra explained about the concept of brain death, laws, misconceptions and myths regarding organ donation. Mr. Suman Prasad also distributed books and pens to the deserving students of the colony during the occasion.
