On March 15, 2022, an awareness program was organized for the NCC students of Anna University, Guindy. About 36 NCC students actively participated and made the even a memorable one.
The NCC students of Anna University, approached MOHAN Foundation, Chennai Office requesting us to support them in creating awareness on Organs Donation on a College event which is going to be conducted shortly. Prior to the event, we planned to create a small awareness session for the NCC students alone, so that they pan the event with full understanding of the cause.
The NCC students of Anna University were pooled together at Industrial Engineering Department at Optimus Hall for the event. Mr. Ganesh C, Marketing Coordinator addressed the gathering, and gave a brief walkthrough on Organ donation and Organ Transplantation. It was apt that the speaker was a winner of Governor's award as a best NCC cadet in his college days. With the presence of Ms. Preethi Bhaskar, Project Executive, the Q&A session was more interactive. The students were hungry for knowledge and were a great set of audience.
MOHAN Foundation looks forward to the big college based event planned by the unit.
