




On the occasion of “Environmental Week” Visteon company invited MOHAN Foundation to conduct an awareness programme on Organ Donation for their employees on 03.06.2013. An information desk was set up in the cafeteria to reach maximum number of employees. Ms. Kavitha, Transplant Coordinator manned the stall.
The following points were explained by one to one interaction.

3. Organs can be donated
4. Importance of Donor card
5. Activities of MOHAN Foundation
6. TNOS (Tamilnadu Network of Organ Sharing)
7. THO Act and Toll free Helpline Service
The queries raised during interaction were
1. Whom to be approached in case of natural death?
2. Role of MOHAN Foundation in Organ Donation
3. Is the MOHAN Foundation donor card universally accepted?
The queries were answered. Nearly 50 of the employees supported the noble cause by signing the donor card. They also promised to join their hands in future endeavours.
