On January 11, 2026, MOHAN Foundation set up an organ donation awareness desk at the Powai Run held at Hiranandani Garden, Powai, Mumbai. The initiative was carried out in collaboration with the National Burn Centre, aiming to educate the public about the importance of organ donation and encourage them to pledge for this life-saving cause. The awareness desk provided visitors with detailed information on eligibility criteria, the process of pledging, and the impact of organ and tissue donation on saving lives.
The event was well-received, attracting more than 2,000 visitors to the awareness stall. The team engaged with attendees, answered their questions, and clarified common misconceptions about organ donation. As a result of the outreach, 50 individuals took the pledge to become organ donors, demonstrating a strong response and public interest in contributing to this noble cause.
MOHAN Foundation extends its sincere thanks to Dr. Keshwani for inviting the organization to be a part of the Powai Run and facilitating its participation in the event. The collaboration provided an excellent platform to spread awareness among the community, encouraging more people to understand the importance of organ donation and actively participate in saving lives.
