On 23rd September 2012, as a follow up to the talk on Organ donation at Gokaraju Rangaraju College of Pharmacy, the pharmacy students along with MOHAN Foundation team participated in the campaign on organ donation among general public at Kukatpally Housing board colony. Around twenty students went into crowded places and explained about organ donation and its importance. As it was Sunday morning, public of surrounding area leisurely came and took the information on organ donation and donor card. Many people like traffic policemen, shopkeepers, general public and auto drivers came forward to take donor card. Auto drivers also stuck the stickers to their autorickshaws. After the campaign, students showed their interest in being volunteers for spreading the message.
