On September 13, 2025, Paras Health, in collaboration with MOHAN Foundation, NATCO, and ISOT, under the aegis of SOTTO Haryana, organized a one-day Annual Refresher Course for Transplant Coordinators on Living Donation at Hotel Radisson Blu, Sector 29, Gurugram.
Inaugural Session
The day began with the inaugural ceremony and lamp lighting, graced by:

Interactive Discussions
The sessions were highly interactive, with participants raising pertinent questions, including:
• How can embassy NOCs received via email be verified?
• Should preference be given between diabetic and healthy donors?
• If a donor refuses on the day of surgery, does it reflect as a transplant coordinator’s failure?
• When will the next amendments to THOTA be introduced?
• How can patient identity be verified when donor families lack bank accounts?
Quiz & Closing
An engaging quiz was conducted by Ms. Poonam Sharma, Curriculum Coordinator, MOHAN Foundation, with nearly 30 transplant coordinators participating. The top three winners received gift vouchers.
The program concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Dr. Madhuri Jaitley, who acknowledged Paras Health, MOHAN Foundation, SOTTO Haryana, the distinguished speakers, and the participants. She appreciated the MOHAN Foundation team for their continued efforts in capacity building and promoting ethical organ donation.
