Anna Nagar RTO supports in spreading the message of Organ Donation

  • MOHAN Foundation was invited to conduct an awareness programme at the Regional Transport Office, Anna Nagar on 25th September 2018. The programme targeted around 25 people who were waiting to submit their driving license applications. Mr. T. S. Siva Shankar helmed the session.

    Mr. Siva Shankar began the session by distributing green ribbons in support of organ donation. He then explained the following points in detail:

    • Organs that could be donated
    • Donation in case of cardiac death and brain death
    • Brain death and coma
    • Myths on organ donation
    • Laws that govern organ donation in India
    • Donor Cards and Helpline Number

    The session which started at 11:30 AM went on for 30 minutes. MOHAN Foundation thanks
    Mr. Sridharan, the Regional Transport Officer for supporting this social cause.
