On 1st October 2022, An awareness session on Organ Donation was conducted at Nirmaan Organisation. Dr. Bhanu Prakash was the key resource. The session was organised by Mr.Imran and Mr. Mohan Nistala from Rotary Club of Secunderabad.
Nirmaan Organisation, or My India, is a voluntary organization formed by the students of Birla Institute of Technology and Science in Pilani, It focuses on providing education and employment opportunities to economically challenged people of the society.
Dr. Bhanu Prakash started the session by asking a few introductory questions on Organ Donation and then introduced MOHAN Foundation to the participants and kept the audience engaged throughout the session. The following were discussed in detail:
Over all the session was very interactive where participants enthusiastically contributed to the discussion and asked many queries.
Dr. Bhanu Prakash motivated the students to pledge to donate organs and explained the importance of a donor card.
Close to 30 students attended the session and pledged for Organ Donation
