A request for a body donation from Dahod, Gujarat, was received by Ambassador Mr. Kalpeshsinh Rathod in Vadodara on May 23, 2024. Following the death of Mrs. Prabhaben G. Radadiya (aged 80), her son Mr. Jaman Radadiya and grandson Mr. Dhaval Radadiya requested assistance with body donation. The family received an explanation of every step from Mr. Rathod.
Mr. Rathod discovered the nearest medical college that would accept her voluntary body donation, along with a physician who would confirm her death at her home. He organised the donor's transportation to the medical college as part of his ongoing support for the family. The body was successfully donated to Zydus Medical College and Hospital in Dahod early the following day.
The MOHAN Foundation appreciates the family's charitable act and coordination and support of Mr Rathod and Dr.Prayag Pandya.
