On May 25, 2023, Ambassador Kalpeshsinh Rathod organised an awareness session for Dialysis technicians at Bhailal Amin General Hospital, Vadodara. 8 staff attended the session. He spoke of the need, why, how, when of organ donation. He explained brain death and its difference from coma. He gave salient features of Transplant Law and how to register as a donor.
After his talk, the discussion was about the difference between organ and tissue, who can pledge and some legal queries.
