  • An awareness talk on organ donation was conducted at Haryana Police Academy, Madhuban, Karnal, Haryana, under the guidance of Dr. Neena Ambassador on May 14, 2026. The session was attended by 110 Women Personnel of the Anti-Terrorism Squad and aimed to raise awareness among women trainees about the importance of organ donation, its impact on saving lives, and the procedures involved in pledging for donation.

    • Organs that can be donated during life and after death
    • Transplant waiting list in India and the urgent demand-supply gap
    • Brain death and distinction between brain death and coma

    • Role of MOHAN Foundation in promoting awareness and facilitating donations
    • Myths and facts surrounding organ donation

    The session was highly interactive, with participants enthusiastically engaging in discussions and raising thoughtful questions. A remarkable outcome was that all attendees expressed their willingness to donate organs, reflecting the effectiveness of the awareness drive.

    At the conclusion, Dr. Neena delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks. Notably, around all the participants collected donor cards, committing to share their decision with their families — a crucial step in ensuring their wishes are honored.
