On August 31st 2019, the largest all-women rally across states for the noble cause of organ donation was organised by Akhil Bharathiya Marwadi Mahila Sammelan (ABMMS). MOHAN Foundation was invited by Mrs. Gunbala Khemka, President of Akhil Bharathiya Marwadi Mahila Sammelan of the Mogappair East wing. MOHAN Foundation was given an opportunity to set up an information desk at the Madras Medical Mission Hospital, Mogappair East for the association members during the event and also participate in the rally. The rally started by 11:30 AM at MMM hospital. Ms. Juhija, Biostatistician and Mrs. P. Kaviya, Intern of MOHAN Foundation manned the information desk and participated in the rally.
Over 25 people visited the desk and picked up information brochures, green ribbons, discussed organ donation and 22 people pledged to donate their organs. The rally came to a close at 12:40 PM in D.A.V Senior Secondary School in Mogappair East. The rally, along with 18 others is various parts of the country have been included in the India Book of Records.
