





Mrs. Lalitha Raghuram, Country Director of MOHAN Foundation was invited by the organisers of 4th National Organ Retrieval Workshop at M.S. Ramaiah Advanced Learning Centre, Bengaluru on 4th May, 2018, to speak on “Grief Counseling techniques”. After showing the film of NHSBT, UK on good and poor approach to counseling for organ donation, she made a presentation on grief counseling, when, how, who and what.
The participants of the workshop received the talk very well and asked several though provoking questions. Dr. Sonal Asthana, Senior Consultant Hepatobiliary Surgery & Multi Organ Transplantation, Aster CMI Hospitals, Bengaluru, mentioned about the contribution of MOHAN Foundation and also the training programs they conduct across India.
MOHAN Foundation was given a booth to showcase its work, and also distribute application forms for e-learning pack of European Society of Organ Transplantation. The information booth was managed by Mr. Siva Shankar. Several participants enthusiastically took the forms and wanted to enroll for the e-learning module.
