Organ donation awareness talk at Mahalaxmi Jagadmba College, Nagpur

• Bhagani Mandal campus, Mahalaxmi Jagadmba College, Sitabuldi Nagpur, conducted awareness of organ donation talk for BFA 1^st year and B.com 1^styear on 9th January 2015. Miss. Kanchan Shewde transplant coordinator of MOHAN Foundation, Nagpur delivered an audio-visual talk. Program in charge Professor Paunikar & students were present during the talk.

   

  The audio-visual talk gave information about the complete subject. She stressed the importance of organ donation in case of brain death, whose organs could be donated. More than 20 students attended the session.

   

  After the talk, students raise the following queries:

   

  1. After death how much time taken for organ donation?
  2. If I donate organs then can my relatives get my organ?
  3. Process of Eye donation?
  4. If we will pledge for organ donation it is compulsory for organ donation?
  5. What is the process of organ distribution?
