Mr. Sharad Jighkar, Regional Transport Officer, Giripeth, Nagpur invited MOHAN foundation to conduct an awareness session on organ donation. This was for drivers who apply for vehicle registration and driving license and was done in the Regional Transport office (RTO) training hall on 16th February 2018.
Mr. Bulu Behera delivered a talk on Organ Donation. In his talk he explained for following points:

v Type of organ donation
v Brain Death, Natural Death and Coma
v Myths related to Organ donation
v Deceased donation case in Nagpur and Kidney transplant hospitals in Nagpur
v The law on organ donation, ZTCC and how to register as a patient
v Importance of Donor card, Helpline number and MOHAN Foundation website
It was a very interactive session. 60 drivers were present at the talk and 3 drivers signed consent form and picked their donor cards.
