On 26th April 2017, MOHAN Foundation was invited by commandant, Col A.Bahuguna, 14 Punjab Battalion, NCC Nabha to conduct an awareness session for their N.C.C. Northern Command Instructors at NCC Academy, Ropar. The group of Officers and J.C.Os were from various units from Punjab, Haryana & Himachal Pradesh. They were very much aware about organ donation. Around 250 J.C.Os participated in the program.
Officers & J.C.Os were given an introduction by Mr. Sudhir Dewan and presentation on organ donation and brain death by Ms. Deepika Arora.
In this talk she explained the concepts of organ donation, brain death, types of donors, myths and misconceptions on organ donation, MOHAN Foundation mission & vision, importance of donor card, how one person can save many lives were covered in detail.
J.C.Os were highly motivated and said they will come forth to make it a success in their respective camps.
