  On May 30, 2022, MOHAN Foundation, Chennai office received a call for assistance in eye and body donation. Mr Shanth Ragul, Project Executive, Education attended the call. Dr Hemal, Quality Assurance Officer provided some contact numbers to facilitate body and cornea donation.
  
  Ms Sujatha and Ms Preetha of MOHAN Foundation then coordinated with the family members. Mr Ramachandran S, 82 year old died in his home. His son Mr Kannan wanted to donate his father's eyes and body. Ms Sujatha called Madras Medical College and Hospital for body donation and Sankara Nethralaya for eye donation. Simultaneously, Ms Preetha contacted Dr Mallikesan, Medical Superintendent of Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research, Chennai. Contact information of medical colleges were given to the family members.
  
  On May 31, 2022, the deceased body was donated to Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research, Chennai. Family requested the hospital to retrieve eyes. Unfortunately, eye donation did not happen because of infection.
