A Walkathon to support organ donation was organized by Vikas Tarangini - Youth and MOHAN Foundation covering most of the districts in Andhra Pradesh. The Walk at Rajam Mandal of Srikakulam District was organized on December 29th, 2012. The 5k walk started from Government Junior College to Sampath Nagar. The walk was flagged off by Mr. Seetharam, Circle Inspector.
Around 500 members walked for the cause. The other guests who participated were Mr. V V S Sharma, State secretary of Vikas Tarangini and Mr K Saipratap,vice chairman of Indian Red cross. 500 donor cards and brochures were distributed.
