Dr. Francis L. Delmonico, President-Elect, The Transplant Society, from Boston, USA, visited MOHAN Foundation’s office at Hyderabad at 9 am on 27th June 2011. He met with all the transplant coordinators of hospitals in Hyderabad, who shared with them their experiences in the organ donor program. Dr. Delmonico who has been a catalyst in promoting and facilitating deceased organ donor program around the world, was in our office to share with us the WHO critical pathways and his experiences in the developed countries. He promised that he will address issues pertaining to the deceased organ donation program in Andhra Pradesh and India at the concerned ministerial level.
