The Nizami Bandhu in a new avatar in aid of “ ANUDAAN- Making transplants affordable”

  A virtual concert by The Nizami Bandhu

  MOHAN Foundation in association with SBI Foundation &  put together a concert on Sufi music with The Nizami Bandhu of the ‘Kun Faya’ fame in the movie Rockstar.

   

  This event was held on March 19^th 2022 at 7.00pm and was an endeavor to raise funds for underprivileged persons who require lifesaving transplants.

   

  The concert was live on Youtube and Facebook, on the eve of Holi, to celebrate the COLOURS OF LIFE by the beautiful act of Organ Donation for those who are waiting for a second chance at life through transplantation but most importantly, a celebration of the spirit of giving.

   

  Organ transplant costs are exorbitant and not many government hospitals perform transplants. As a result, many poor are unable to avail this advancement of medicine. Through this concert we urged the audience to join hands with us and contribute to MOHAN Foundations initiative – “Anudaan – Making Transplants Affordable” so that many more lives can be saved. An amount of Rs. 3.5 lacs was raised through this event and reached 1308 views in Facebook and 163 views in Youtube.
