On February 29th 2012, a talk on Organ Donation was given to the students of IIT (Indian Institute of Technology), New Delhi, pursuing B. Tech. Around 60 students mostly from 1st year and few 2nd and 3rd year students attended the talk. Information on ‘Brain Death’, ‘THO Act’, ‘Ways of Transplantation’ and ‘Donor Cards’ was given to them. The presentation was followed by an interactive session on questions & answers. Most of the students were aware of the concept and showed keenness to enhance their knowledge. At the end of the session, 50 pledged for Donor Cards.
