On 17th August 2021, Dr. Dipak Deshmukh, the Secretary of Suretech College of Nursing, Nagpur, invited Dr. Ravi Wankhede, Director of MOHAN Foundation, for an event that was held to commemorate Organ Donation Day.
Dr. Wankhede was felicitated ahead of the event. Alongside Dr. Deshmukh, Ms. Mercy Anjore - Principal, Ms. Savita Dhoble - Assistant Professor, Ms. Susanna Thallapally - Associate Professor, students of BSC Nursing and GNM students were present in the conference hall of the college.
Dr. Wankhede used a PowerPoint presentation and covered the following points during his talk:
Around 300 people, including students and faculty attended the session and 5 of them signed up to donate organs upon death. In the end, Dr. Deshmukh delivered the vote of thanks.
