  MOHAN Foundation, transplant coordinators organized a sensitization program on organ donation for the students of School of Nursing, MMC. Around 174, students who are pursuing their Diploma in Nursing attended this session.

  • Role of a Nurse in transplant coordination
  • How to improve eye donation

   

  Questions raised by the students:

  
  

  • Which organ will be removed first?
  • What is the cold ischemic time of each organ?
  • What is the use of donor card?
  • How many times an organ can be transplanted?

   

  At the end of the program all the students expressed their support by pledging for a donor card.
