On December 21, 2024 SAN Academy, Chennai organized a Blood Donation Camp in their campus at Velachery. They invited MOHAN Foundation to create awareness on the noble cause of Organ Donation through an information desk.
The information desk was manned by Ms. Arshiya Fathima H (Helpline Counselor, MOHAN Foundation), Ms. Yamini M (Community education executive- CHILD Project). Information brochures, green ribbon, registration forms, donor cards and a standee were placed at the desk. Around 150 students and other parents, students, and staff visited the stall.
Ms. Arshiya provided valuable information on organ donation and also how individuals can protect themselves from spam. She explained courses offered by MOHAN Foundation to improve their career aspects - Transplant Coordinators Training Program. She spoke about the community engagement by becomeing an Ambassador for the cause.
Few students came forward and actively participated in a Puzzle activity. MOHAN Foundation extends its warm gratitude towards SAN Academy & Ms Padhma Priya for the opportunity and the teaching staff in organizing the session.
