A presentation on organ donation was made to the management students of Potti Sriramulu College of Engineering and Technology, Vijayawada, on 28th March, 2011. Dr. Vijay Durga Prasad, Professor & Head, Department of Management Studies, delivered a welcome address. Mr. K. Raghuram, Convenor of MOHAN Foundation, Hyderabad, spoke on the concept of organ donation, and Mrs. Lalitha Raghuram, Country Director of MOHAN Foundation, spoke about the journey of MOHAN Foundation thus far.
The students and faculty were very impressed with the cause and immediately decided to pledge their organs.
Thanks to the initiative taken by Dr. Durga Prasad, this presentation was a grand success. Friends from the Media vouched to help us in a big way. Hopefully, this will pave the way for starting organ donation movement in Vijayawada.
